BOOKS IN MY PIPELINE

My overly imaginative brain is always coming up with new books to write.  So much so, that it gets in the way of the books I’m already working on.  And since my brain absolutely insists that I have to at least begin all these books each time, it literally keeps me from finishing some of the books I’m already working on.

Here is a list of some that I’ve either finished writing and haven’t done anything with yet, or that I’m anticipating finishing up soon.  Watch for them as I make each one available.

Rookie Witch

Fantasy

Status:  In progress

I had such a fun time writing Witch Without Magic that I started a followup book to it.

This is a story about Carrie Wells.  A witch who didn't ask to have witch powers.  A witch who doesn't want witch powers.  She just suddenly would up with them - like it or not!

Carrie is a rookie policewoman fresh out of police training in Atlanta,
GA.  That's the carreer she wants and she sees no practical use or need for any witchcraft in her life.  But when she suddenly meets a murder suspect who is also a witch, she has no choice but to dig into some of those new abilities she's been gifted with.

Rookie policewoman.  Rookie witch.  And a handsome murder suspect who also happens to be a rookie witch like her.  What's a girl to do?

The Woman In-Between

Thief

Suspense

Status:  In progress

What happens when a professional thief, falls head-over-heels in love with the daughter of the man he has sworn to destroy?  Trouble!

Nobody knows who he really is.  Nobody knows what he really does.  He has always lived his life on his terms and in the process, has become wildly successful.  But now trouble has come his way.  Trouble that he’s facing head-on in the only way he knows how.

He was nearly murdered.  Someone close to him was murdered.  And now he wants revenge.  But he knows he isn’t a murderer, he’s a thief.  So he uses what he knows the best to plan his revenge…until he meets the daughter.

He has lived most of his life on the very knife edge of danger.  Daring to do what nobody else would even conceive.  Once again he plunges himself into that danger, only to find himself stopped short by nothing more than the most beautiful, wonderful woman he’s ever met.

So what’s a thief supposed to do?  He’s got to kill someone.  But he loves his daughter too much.

Suspense

Status:  In progress

Three people were all born on exactly the same day in very different parts of the world.  All of them came of age at exactly the same time on their ninth birthday.  One became a fixer and hit-man for a war lord in Angola.  The second from Colorado became an FBI sniper.  And the third, the woman in-between, became a spy for the Mossad in Israel.

The hit-man and the sniper are brought together for a special project by the Mossad spy.  The bigger problem though is what happened after their project was over.

Soulflower and the Monster

Children's Story

Status:  Finished

My one and only children’s story – so far.

I have always believed that the greatest words ever written are:  "Once upon a time."  In a way, every story could begin with those magic words.  In this case, since this is a children’s fairytale – about a tiny fairy, the book literally does begin with those magic words.

Since this is a short story intended for a young audience, and the entire book is only one chapter, I've added a link here so you can read just the first part of it so you can get an idea of what it's like..

Wicked Wedding

Fantasy

Status:  In progress

Book two of my fantasy series:  Chronicles of the Guides.

The war with Scathia is over, but that doesn’t mean all of the enemy is gone.  And those that remain have revenge foremost on their minds.  And a horrible revenge it is!

Suspense, action, wizardry, and of course, love.  They all combine to make a very memorable read.  Not to mention that you get to crawl inside the mind of a Scathian assassin – always very interesting.

Where the first book concentrated more on Frederick/Joren.  This book not only follows Joren, it looks even closer at his wife and Guide, Kerisia, and of course, at the love that binds them together.

The story picks up just a few months after the end of Book 1 – Magic of the Guides.  Most of the old characters are back, plus a collection of new ones.
